Virginia Clean Energy is a new nonprofit organization, fiscally sponsored by LEAN Energy US , which mission is dedicated to the accelerated expansion of, and competitive success of, clean and renewable energy via Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) in Virginia.

Our Values
Virginia Clean Energy values are embedded in the proposition of an alternative energy model for counties, cities, and municipalities that has already been established and proven to be successful in other States across America to provide residents and businesses with more renewable energy at competitive and stable prices. Our unique approach involve a bottom up and top down approach that lead to concerted action with a variety of stakeholders. We want to provide an (a) opportunity for cities to meet their clean energy and environmental goals (b) energy choices for residents and businesses (c) transparency of information, and (d) encourage informed decision in the public interest.

Promote CCA in the development of clean and renewable energy policy at the State and the local level

Develop the internal capacity, technical skills and competencies in order to become the premier organization regarding CCA in Virginia

Facilitate the creation of CCAs in Virginia
